Send Money to Death Dark

Master of the Unfinished.

The rain poured down all around her.  The tall, dark buildings oppressed her vision.  She didn't know how she got there, nor why she was there.  Her mind was filled with a rush of emotions:  pain, depression, anger, stress, sadness, frustration, hopelessness.  She couldn't escape it, she just turned in circles, trying to find an escape, her vision rushing, her thoughts clouding, nothing made sense anymore.  She slipped backwards off of the sidewalk, crashing to the wet streets.  The blow to the head made her vision swim, she saw doubles of everything, and the world seemed to close in on her on the floor.  A shadow loomed over her, a dark figure.  She wanted to run, she wanted to hide, but there was nowhere to go, nowhere to hide, the figure stood there, but it didn't threaten her.  The figure reached out his hand to her.
     "Do you want to escape?"
She reached out to him, to take his hand, dark figures closing in around them.  She was afraid that they would take her away from him.  He pulled her up, off of the ground, and she slipped from his grasp and began falling.  He grew further from her, she was pulled into the darkness, there was no escape.

Judy woke suddenly to the sound of her alarm.  She shut it off, and sat up in bed in her loose, low cut t-shirt.  She pressed her hand against her heart. feeling it beating wildly.  She thought of that man.  She hung her head, and got up, knowing that there would be no savior to rescue her from this day.

"I think you just need to stop dreaming," Lacie told Judy.
"It's almost like a metaphor, if you think about it."
"Yeah, like some dark savior is going to come out of nowhere and save you from all of this."  Lacie looked thoughtful for a moment, and concluded, "Y'know, that actually would be pretty nice.
"But there's something holding me back, pulling me down into all of this. . ."
"Yeah, well, whatever it is, we're going to be late for the meeting if you don't get up already."
     "Oh, right, the meeting."
Judy quickly grabbed the stuff off of her desk, and walked with Lacie to the board room.  They shook hands with people, acted nice, and took their seats.  Judy had a nice seat that allowed her to gaze out of the window that took up one of the walls, and out onto the city below.  Everything seemed so peaceful up here.
Judy tried to concentrate on the meeting, but she couldn't get her mind off of her dream.  As her eyes wandered around the room in a daze, she suddenly saw a dark figure standing on the other side of the window.  No one else noticed him, that man that she had seen before.  He motioned to her, pointing downwards.  Judy didn't understand what he meant.  Was there something on the floor?  Was she supposed to duck?
Judy's notes suddenly fell off of the desk.  She immediately bent down to pick them up, and Lacie did as well, helping Judy out.
There was a loud crash, and the building shook.  Judy felt something move past her head, but was too afraid to move and look.  In the confusion, Judy tried to get up, but something was blocking her way.  She waited, and she eventually felt something move past her head again.  She looked around to see what happened, and saw that everyone else who had been in the meeting was decapitated by this object.  She looked out of the destroyed window to see a large piece of metal falling down to the ground.  The dark figure stood upon it, solemnly crossing his arms.
     "Judy!  Are you okay?"
     "Yeah. . ."
"What the Hell happened?  What was that?"
"It looked like some sort of metal."
"Yeah, I saw, but how?  Large sheets of metal don't just fly through the air and kill business meetings!"
"It was him . . . he came to save me."
"What?  I think you got hit on the head, too.  C'mon, we need to get some help."
