The Epic Fictional Female Contest

    Throughout time there have been many characters of fiction who are great beyond all others, who make everyone else seem like nothing in comparison.  These Epic individuals deserve recognition for their accomplishments, and this is why we're here.

    This Contest, the EFFC, is not so much about all characters of fiction, but only the female characters featured in Anime and Videogames.  These two classifications have been picked since many movies associate the characters with the actor playing the role, and book characters are too often far too inadequate to compete with such individuals.

    Individuals that are entered into the contest must be from an Anime or Videogame released in the United States for public consumption.  Any that have not been for sale at some store or another or featured on Television (for anime only) cannot be included.  Manga characters may not be entered unless there is an anime released in the United States of that manga.

    Any pictures of individuals may not contain nudity or censored nudity.  Conveniently placed environments do not count, only actual clothing.  All pictures must also otherwisely follow Forum rules, and may not contain any individuals besides the one in question.

    An individual may only be entered by one user or team of users.  The team of users must be organized before the initial post is made in favor of that character, or all users will be disqualified for that character.  If the individual who wins is in the possession of a team, that team must split the reward.

    The individual who is deemed the winner of the contest shall grant the user who vouched for the individual a prize.  The second and third place individuals may also receive a lesser prize.  The prizes are chosen by the user and may take advantage of the following skills I am able to possess.

    -  Programming (Text-Based)
    -  Web Design
    -  Graphic Design
    -  Artistry
    -  Authorship
    -  Scripting

The specific prize must be cleared before it can be given.  For a clarification as to what in particular I can do, just PM me.  Prizes may be rejected based off of themes such as Emo, Homosexuality (male), and thoughts, ideas, and characters that may be improperly portrayed as to how the original author intended.

    This being not a beauty contest, the user must provide why the individual is, in fact, epic enough to out-play other entered individuals.  It will be up to the user to debate why their individual is more Epic than all others entered.  Because she is going to be used as an example, Samus Aran is not allowed to be entered as an epic individual, especially considering she would win instantly.

    This contest ends at 8:30 PM in one week.  Any user of Forte's Sprites n' Comics Forum may enter.  Good luck.


My entry is Samus Aran.  I do not have a team.



    Samus is what every male character wishes to be:  brave, fearless, and powerful.  In my entire experience of playing as her, I have only seen her showing signs of weakness once.  However, I do not think less of her, as such a harsh, radioactive, and corrosive material living and growing inside of me would make me vomit, too.  Of course, not only did she get right back up and pwn someone, but the fact is that she was vomiting Phazon.  That's hardcore no matter who you are.

    Samus' arsenal is nothing short of potent.  She has many suits, ranging from the Power Suit, to the Varia suit, to the powerful Light, Dark, and Phazon suits, all of which hold very potent upgrades for her.  Even more impressive is Samus' weaponry, such as the Plasma weaponry, and even Phazon based weaponry in Hyper-Mode.  Samus simply has the tools to get the job done right.

    Even more recent, Samus has been featured without her bulky Power Suits in Metroid Prime 3:  Corruption, and, more extendedly, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  This has shown the world that not only is Samus a powerful individual, but that she's very attractive as well.

My entry is The Boss. I have no team either.






If you actually care about the Metal Gear Solid 3 storyline, then be warned! There are SPOILERS, so be warned





The Boss was a true American soldier. Her Cobra Unit call sign was "The Joy", which she received from the fact that she had great joy in fighting for her country. She founded the Cobra Unit, an elite group of soldiers during World War II, not to mention that she gave birth to Ocelot on the beaches of Normandy through a cesarean section, talk about the ultimate working mother. At the end of World War II, she disbanded the Cobras, and took part in many covert operations given to her by the U.S. government. The Boss was also involved in the atomic testing in the Nevada desert in 1951, and unofficially became the first person in space in 1960. She also developed the fighting style of CQC with her disciple "Jack", later to be known as "Naked Snake" or "Big Boss."

During "Operation: Virtuous Mission", "Jack"  now known as "Naked Snake", confronted his master on a rope bridge in the jungles of Russia, where The Boss reformed The Cobras, defected to the Soviet Union, handed over two miniature nuclear warheads to Colonel Volgin, broke Naked Snake's arm, and threw him off of the bridge, into roaring waters hundreds of feet below. After this, Naked Snake entered "Operation Snake Eater", which was actually a mission for The Boss to prove the United States innocence in the nuclear explosion that ensued from Volgin's use of the "Davy Crockett" Warhead.

Finally, at the end of Snake Eater, Naked Snake confronts The Boss in a field of white flowers for a fight to the death. Before the battle, The Boss informs Snake of The Philosophers. Before striking the final blow, a dying Boss hands Snake her assault rifle ,with infinite ammo I might add, The Patriot, with which Naked Snake ends her life with a single shot of her own weapon. Although she was despised as a traitor by both the Soviet Union and the United States, The Boss would continue to be seen as a hero, and a true patriot by the man who inherited her title, Big Boss.

My vote is Yoko Ritona from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.



TTGL takes place in a time where humans are forced to live underground in villages completely cut off from the rest of the world.  Yoko is a member of the resistance against the Beastmen, the ones who are forcing the people to live underground. She is a sniper of great skill, and is also experienced with many other firearms. She shoots down giant robots on a regular basis.

She falls in love with Kamina, the leader of the resistance, but he died soon after they confessed their love for each other. She then goes on to defeat the beastmen with Kamina's younger brother, Simon.

Later, Simon builds a city for humans and names it after his brother, but Yoko decides to become a school teacher on an island away from the city. She comes back to Simon and the Gurren Brigade to defeat the Anti-Spirals after they attack.

And yes, that is all she wears on a normal day.
