So my girlfriend was flying home from Iowa yesterday. Her original flight was leaving Iowa at 6:30ish A.M. (7:30 on the right coast), with a final arrival at Charlotte at 1:20 P.M.. I was to pick her up in Charlotte and bring her home. Well, it didn't exactly work like that. Her first flight left an hour early, so she didn't get on that one and had to buy a new flight. This one had her arriving in Charlotte at 8:00 P.M. So what was supposed to be about 20 minutes in Charlotte for me ended up to be a 7 hour wait with no technology of any kind (I left my laptop(s) at home).

Successful install of L.U.R.K. was indeed, successful. However, it's pretty laggy on my computer, which strikes me as odd. It seemed to stop, I think. Regardless, the mod is yes.

Early release, like always on Wednesday, got home lounged, watched the new Yahtzee, lurked on /v/, then watched TV. After wards, Ma woke up from her nap, and we went to GameStop I got my copy of Halo 3: ODST, as well as a copy for my friend Robert. ODST is incredibly yes.

Monday, September 20, 2010:
Went to Computer Science. Professor as usual treated the three of us who had 226 with a different professor like slime. Asked how I was doing on a project, I begin to detail my thought process. I am almost immediately halted, informed that I am incorrect, and a correct method is written on the board. The method on the board is where I was going. I am then asked what .str does to the code segment it is attached to. After giving it a moment's thought, I reply "It converts that to an array of characters." I am informed that I am incorrect, and that the correct answer is that it converts it to a c-string.

By book definition: "A C-string is a sequence of characters store in consecutive memory locations and terminated by a null character. Because an array is a sequence of consecutive memory locations that store values of the same type, a C-string is really a null-terminated array of characters. "

My correct answer then buys the class an extra 30 minutes at the end of class on friday to go over the strings chapter that we clearly do not know.

1:30 AM - remember that I have to do three programs that only us three from the different 226 professor have to do regarding strings. Two of these I already did in 226, further proving how much I know about Strings and their operators.

That was the day I realized that Facebook is the root of all evil. I made a reference to having a kid who died 5 years ago practicing AeA being in the yearbook, which I thought was stupid. I received many nasty nasty messages and comments to which I responded informing the senders of their contradictory statements and general stupidity.

That day was filled with awkwardness. I was greeted by strange looks and felt general paranoia about being near these people. I returned home to find many more messages declaring my heartlessness and assholery.

That day was MR35's 15 birthday. He opened presents before I took my sister to school. When I got to that "academic" hell-hole, people were all staring at me. In a class discussion in English, I stated my opinion on the topic and a snooty girl fussed under her breath, but loud enough so that I would hear, "Just shut up! I do not even want to hear your voice right now." I continued speaking, although growing angry. That was all made better by getting home to see a double layer cake of fudgie goodness. (That time, the cake was not a lie! ;D ) Then I when to Pizza Hut to get pizzas for MR.
Rating: 7/10 (What can I say, there was cake.)

A "friend" of mine asked why everyone was so angry with me, and then turned on me as well. Walking back from lunch, stupid people yelled out behind me "Hey! Did you hear [Name I shan't Mention] is going to be in yearbook!!" as if that bothered me. Then people made nasty comments about how "sometimes you just have to ignore ignorant people," to which I replied "Said the pot to the kettle," begrudgingly.

I began an oil painting for art class. I also received a neat grey hoodie with a wolf's face on it from a new friend I had made who thinks that people are allowed to have opinions. My token black friend who acts white asked me if I was sure I just wanted to let things ferment this way because a lot of people were really pissed at me. I replied "Quite frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn!" At which we laughed.

A teacher of mine asked about the rumors she had heard about me, and I explained myself. She laughed and commented positively about how I was never shy about expressing myself. I continued my oil painting, and am almost done with it. Unfortunately, absent minded me left my headlights on all day and my battery was dead in the afternoon... Dad had to come and jump my car so I could get home.

I have gotten up from a dream in which a friend of mine from Texas cut my legs off with a scythe. My boyfriend, named Will Smith (I kid you not!), held me down on a table while his cousin sewed my legs back on with fishing line. They said the job he'd done was "rather professional" and told me I could go. Then a UFO landed in the room and announced it was time return to the mother ship!! Then I woke up, came downstairs and drank coffee. Then I watched Fox News. Then I got on the computer and fought this site for access. Then I posted this. Now I suppose I'll go shower.

It's been a good week, I've got Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions for PS3 and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep to keep me busy. Almost done with Spider-Man, and I keep dying by the hands of Terra/Xehanort in Terra's chapter in BbS. Least I've got three more characters/chapters in it. Got The Lost Hero Wednesday and finished reading it Friday. The biggest downside to this week is realizing I've got another year till The Son of Neptune comes out.

Was good day. Nothing too exciting though. Should be getting my own/new PC soon. Delicious Hat Fortress 2 and Left 4 Trolling 2 awaits me. Work was hardly busy. Been making a lot of progress on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

Today, got a massive headache from 5 hours of TV Tropes. And just now I realized I'm gonna have to train again to beat Vanitas as Ventus. Then I'm gonna have to fight Braig AGAIN as Aqua. And directly after that, Vanitas' damn powered up form. All so I can watch Xehanort completely screw over Terra, Aqua, and Ventus and forever screw up the world. Oh, and who knows who I'll fight in the fourth chapter. Great motivation, ain't it?
