Moving woes.

TFCPH is finally moving. The new platform they're using is suck. All levels of suck. I have not used an interface this bad since freewebs.

Protip: fortescomics.net is going to be moving to another host.

I have until the 30th of this month to get everything up and running on the new platform. Since the nxhost.net account is by far better than the one I'm being forced over to, I will spend all of my time after moving the site to the new "Instant Free Hosting.com" platform trying to make my site work on the nxhost hosting.

Your job, as a user here, be it mod, admin, or normal person, is to record things you like. Topics, posts, post count, everything important to you. So far, I have not been able to get this database to backup successfully to either of the new accounts, which could mean a temporary end to the forum.

The site will not die or disappear, so remove those worries from your mind. And yeah, I'm perfectly willing to put in extra effort to bump up from 500mb space and 5gb bandwidth to 1gb space and 10gb bandwidth, with the possibility of making that 5gb space and 100gb bandwidth.

This post was basically to tell you that so far, I have had very, very little success with forums being moved over, and that you need to make backups of anything that concerns you, or you like, just in case. If I can't make it succeed then I'll just recreate the forums from scratch. Yeah.
