My Will Be Done

Backstory:

A universe has just come into being. You wake afloat in a sea of glittering lights. You are a new god born in the chaos of the excess energy that abounds in this fledgling universe. Around you are other gods who have already formed and a single world. A barren planet of nothing; a blank canvas.

Your Character:

When you start, you'll need to post some info about yourself (your god). Note, you can only have one god, so make sure you get them right the first time. To start off with, post the following:

Name should be obvious. Give it a name. Names must be mostly original and fitting of a fantasy type universe. A name like "Bahamut," "Abaddon," or "Lilith" is okay, but a name like "Forte," "penispenispenislol," or any given meme is not.

Your element is the key. This is what you will be the god of, and it determines your role in the universe. Elements are alchemical elements, not chemical elements (earth, water, wind, and fire instead of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen). Elements are not areas of concern, for example there is no god of death or of the sun, but there is a god of Fire, a god of Light, and a god of Darkness. You can only have 1 element, and it cannot be taken already.

Your description should include anything important about your character. Your god doesn't need to stay in a solid physical form, but things like "appears as a cloud" or "the sound of thunder resounds when he walks" may be cool to add. If you god does have a standard physical form, include that here.

As a god, you need a place to call home. You can live in your own realm, or someone else's that's already been created.

If you live in your own, Realm Name and Description should be used to name and give a general description of your realm. Don't go into detail about your mansion or whatever that's in it, and don't bother with naming the creatures or whores you have created to occupy you there. Keep with the fantasy style naming.

If you choose to live in someone else's realm, you need permission from them. Establish that elsewhere by PMing them or something. I just don't want anyone to be all "omgwtf i dun want u here." Name will then be the name of the realm you're joining, and description is why (in a story sense) you are there.

Your Powers:

As a god, you can do whatever. Well, almost.

You cannot kill another god by using your power. You can kill another god by fighting them.

You cannot destroy something that another god created with his power with your power. You can, however, use your power to create something that can destroy them. By this, I mean the god of Fire cannot kill the god of Earth's treant by simply wanting it dead, but he can shoot fire out of his hand and kill it.

You cannot destroy the world. Period.

You cannot create a new world.

You cannot create new gods.

General Rules:

This is not an erotic role play. Keep it as such.

Try to stay in character.

Don't worry about offending my character or anything. My character may be a god, but he's doesn't represent my position as in charge of this game.

I AM in charge of this game. If there are any questions about rules and whatnot, they come to me, and I make the final judgment. I will do so in a neutral format, however, so don't do it just to try to save yourself from an oppressive foe.

If you die, you must wait a week before rejoining as a new character with a different element.

If a character who is the god of an element dies, a new character can take its place as long as the player has never played that element.

Genocides are not officially acceptable. You can kill off as many gods as you want, but if it becomes a problem, you may be banned or have some abilities restricted.

This is not a battle-focused RP, but instead a state-of-being RP. There is no rigid battle system, but if, say, the god of Ice jabs you through the eye with a shard of ice, you don't die. You're a god, after all. However, if he then chops you into little pieces and has the god of Fire burn you...you're dead. Sorry, but they're gods, too.

How to Play:

Just do something. This RP is out of my hands. The story is created by an assortment of Gods interacting and shaping the face of a new world.

Name: Threll
Element: Darkness
Description: Threll is surprisingly calm for the god of Darkness, and is not as obviously malevolent as would be suspected. When he appears in some sort of form, he is tall and broad shouldered and has pale grey-blue skin, dimly glowing red eyes, and unkempt black hair. He appears without a lower half of his body. Threll is usually a looming sort of god, staying just back of the situation, though at the same time standing over those in the situation.

Realm: Deepspell
Realm Description: Deepspell is a barren, grey wasteland filled with dead trees, black weeds, and the corpses of things he has tested in creation, and left to rot. Towards the far, bleak mountains lies Threll's keep. As one travels towards it, the land seems to become hateful in and of itself, as if even the ground that is walked upon wishes for the death of the traveler.

I'll get things started.

As the god of Darkness, I place a shroud of Darkness over the world - a dark cloud that divides it from the land of stars amongst which we float.
