[Death Dark]

Death Dark stood up on the cliff edge that overlooked the valley.  He could sense his opponent was close, but he did not see the elusive Wolf for which he came.  A worthy adversary, but a hard find.  He spied some movement down below, and slowly began down to where he was certain his prey lay...

[Jehryn]

Wolf watches as Death Dark lowers himself.  He set a decoy severall feet to his side and now he crouched ready to spring.

[Death Dark]

As Death Dark approaches, he soon sees it is merely one of Wolf's hounds.  It's of no use to him.  The thing attempted to attack Death Dark, but it was easily slaughtered.  Death Dark observed his surroundings, but the cruel summers day yielded not the contents of his surroundings to Death Dark's heat vision.  Death Dark began off down the valley in the direction of a small abandoned military outpost.

[Jehryn]

Wolf trails Death Dark towards the trap he had layed soon the fight would begin.  Wolf had to stay far back though so Death Dark would not sense him.

[Death Dark]

The outpost seemed abandoned enough from what Death Dark saw.  He walked up to the door without care if he was spotted or not, as is the arrogance of he, and grasped the doorknob.  However, he stopped.  He felt something on the other side of the door.  It was something alive, in a mechanical sort of way.  He felt the pent up potential energy, and released the handle.

"A simple bomb isn't going to deter me from anything," he said aloud.

He turned around and faced the empty valley behind him, though he did not see anything out of place at first...

[Jehryn]

Suddenly the building behind him explodes and Wolf charges out of the forest trailled by two giant wolves.

[Death Dark]

Death Dark stands fast as the flame flows out around him.  He draws his Gugngir, and switches on the golden photon blade.  He prepares himself for the undoubtedly difficult battle.

[Jehryn]

A whirling comes from Wolf's wrist as his Earth pod activates.  The ground explodes under Death Dark sending giant spikes reaching towards the sky. Then Wolf leaps into battle.

[Death Dark]

The earthen spires cracked under Death Dark's feet, and a few came close to his head, but he was alright.  The large beasts came rushing through the chaos at him, but Death Dark burst violently through his earthen tomb, and gave one of the monstrosities a hard shoulder to the gut.  He turned as the other attempted to claw him, and grabbed onto the claws with his right hand as he held his weapon in his left.  He spun the wolf around, slammed him atop of the other one, and plunged his gugngir into the bodies.  He looked up just in time to see Wolf coming at him fast.

[Jehryn]

Wolf launches into a series of lunges and swipes, swinging his sword soul eater both high and low in a blurr.

[Death Dark]

Death Dark faded back as quickly as he could.  A few of the attacks glanced him, but it was only cosmetic damage.  Death Dark returned with his own attack.  He swept his gugngir along the ground and brought it up across at Wolf, and then followed it closely with the pointed butt of the weapon.

[Jehryn]

The blade rips Wolf's cloak and Wolf parries the stab but it glances of his armor on his side.  Wolf activates his fire pod and his sword is covered in black fire. Wolf swings his sword and a wave of dark fire rockets toward him.

[Death Dark]

Death Dark swings through the blast, and it disperses.  He sweeps his massive weapon around, and flips over in the air.  He swings at Wolf's feet and kicks for his head.

[Jehryn]

Wolf jumps and takes the force of Death Dark's kick with his blade.  He lands on his feet and launches into another series of swipes with his blade.  With each swing Soul Eater starts to glow with a dark light as if charging.

[Death Dark]

Death Dark initially stumbles back a little from the feed-back, but he recovers in time to begin to defend himself.  He suddenly uses his weapon as a support to launch himself backwards.  He faces Wolf, whose weapon has almost finished charging, and hopes for the worst.
