I don't think that anyone needs to know everything that's happened, or wants to know, or anything, but if you do, here's how it went down.

HostAider's server gave out on us sometime and resulted in the original "Can't connect to server" error that people probably instantly noticed. Of course, since they were crap to begin with, this was pretty normal. The entire day goes by without any help from anyone, and I begin to get suspicious.

Calvin, the administrator for HostAider didn't sign on. He didn't respond to emails sent directly to him. He hadn't logged on for, at the time, two weeks. (It's now been three and some change, possibly four.) I instantly knew what was up. Calvin was obviously tired of being admin of a ~~sub-par~~ terrible post 2 host webhost, and ran off, not caring when the next server outage would be. As far as I'm concerned, his only excuse for not being a gentleman about this entire process and giving us time to make some backups is that he died, and even then, someone should have had access to the server aside from him. Good riddance either way.

Lucky us, I make a backup every time I update Mother 4 (Or once a month in the event of no Mother 4 update), which just so happened to be New Year's Day. Even luckier us, just after the site went down, Bryansoft opened up signups for their Server 1 accounts, but since they just got over a tremendous server meltdown, the packages are all very small (2gb). For this reason, the AACs and Mp3s aren't going to be up until they open up the larger packages. As an example of exactly how good Bryansoft seems to be so far, after this huge server meltdown of theirs, they're giving out compensation accounts to people who accidentally lost their data. On a 100% free host. Top shelf.

So I, of course, signed up ASAP. However, due to an error in their system, I was, at the same time as having my account activated, banned from everything on Server 1, meaning their site, my site, and everything related. Through a series of going to school and hiding behind 7 proxies while at home, I finally got unbanned. Yesterday.

Now here we are again. Just like new. Except the topsites says 34. I can't wait to shoot back up to 9 faster than anyone in history. Oh, and everything that once pointed to the root directory as "home" is going to have to be changed to "home2" Some wacky shenanigans or something. No big deal, really... just time consuming. It causes Firefox crashing errors on the front page so I probably should redirect or something...
